WILL ACT FOR FOOD

According to Hollywood insiders, former Ally McBeal co-star, Gil Bellows has contracted to appear in a series of infomercials promoting the “Miracle Magnetic Insoles”. Those close to the actor, confirmed the report, as well as Bellows’ agent who told reporters that the 37 year-old Bellows’, while waiting for movie offers to come in, (and growing an impressive beard) decided to appear in the advertisements since Sominex released him from his contract 3 weeks ago.

Known best for his role as “Billy”, from the hit FOX comedy-drama “Ally McBeal”, since leaving the show, the actor has encountered frustration in trying to land new roles.

“We’ve had a few offers”, said agent Frank Henson, “Gil will star in a major release this fall entitled ‘Sleeping In Seattle’, a film based on the true story of a lifelong narcoleptic sanitation worker”

Meanwhile, spokesmen for Bellows’ fellow co-star, actor Courtney Thorne-Smith, also announced her plans to narrate nine episodes of  UPN’s “When Animals Attack The Homeless” set to air this Summer.

When asked if he regretted leaving Ally McBeal, Bellows commented, “I felt I took that character as far as I could”, and according to one critic, “The same could be said for his acting career.”
