"Ally" Cast Members Set
To Be Roommates
Hollywood - Sources from within the FOX corporation, told
reporters today, that due to the tremendous amount of canned
goods which have flooded the studio's mail facility, actress
Calista Flockhart's dressing room would be enlarged by moving
co-stars Lisa Nicole Carson, and Courtney Thorne Smith, into a
single room, and using the addition space to store the donated
groceries. "We have simply run out of room" said spokesmen
for the studio, adding, "Just today we received another
ten cases of "Joe Weider Mega Mass Builder Shakes"
and have no place to store them". Carson was said to be
incensed by the decision, threatening to leave the show, if
producer/director David E. Kelley didn't reverse the move.
According to witnesses however, Carson seemed to accept the
plan, after it was reported that Kelley had responded to the
actress in an interoffice memo which read, "I would give
that some more thought if I were you, Lisa. I hear McDonalds
isn't hiring at the moment". Smith, who had recently been
assigned the duty of retrieving coffee for the producer,
echoed Carson's outrage, but fell short of issuing any
ultimatums. "This move will be a benefit to all the cast
and crew", said Fred Hanson, stage manager, "As it
will serve the dual purpose of restricting access to the Campbell's
Franks and Beans, which Greg has become so fond of, thus
establishing a more pleasant "atmosphere" we can all
live with".
FOX spokesmen insisted that they felt the decision
would in no way strain relationships between the cast members,
citing the fact that Gil Bellows had been with the show from
it conception, and it was still going strong.
