Star Lashes Out With A Hard "L"
Los Angeles – In
yet another bizarre incident involving a cast member of the FOX comedy "Ally
McBeal", Lucy Liu, who stars as the abrasive "Ling" on the show was
arrested last Thursday in connection with an automobile accident. According to officials,
Liu collided with a bus carrying a Girl Scout troop to a jamboree being held in the local
area. While the accident was not serious, and no injuries were reported, witnesses claim
that immediately after the collision Lui exploded in a rage at the damage done to her late
model BMW. Girl Scout leader Wanda Patterson described the events that transpired.
"Well, after she hit us, I checked to see if any of the girls were hurt, and
that’s when she stormed onto the bus demanding to know who was driving the bus, and
why it was in her way" When asked if Liu’s behavior was similar to the character
she portrays on the show, Mrs. Patterson went on to say: "Well I don’t know
about that, I don’t really like hospital programs, but I can tell you, she’s no
Mother Theresa" Shortly after the accident, police took Liu into custody after
failing a field sobriety test. According to officers on the scene, when questioned as to
whether she had been drinking she reportedly replied, "If I hadn’t been
drinking, I wouldn’t be able to tolerate your vile breath" Posting bail shortly
after, reporters inquired of Ms. Liu her version of the events that transpired. Ms. Liu
told reporters, "I was minding my own business, when that blinding yellow cattle car
with the silly little children in ugly clothes struck me and ruined my new car",
"when I tried to protest, the rude, obese woman assaulted me and got sticky cookie
jam on my clean clothes" FOX spokesmen were unavailable for comment.
