Actors Speak Out

Hollywood – In a news conference held yesterday, cast members of the FOX comedy "Ally McBeal" expressed outrage at the number of scathing articles published by the "Cynic Magazine’s" star reporter "Pete". A joint statement from the actors read: "We are all extremely angered by the treatment some of our colleagues have received by this callus man", "His reporting on the recent events that a few of us have had to endure has been cruel, vicious, and counter-productive. Apparently he has attempted to fill a void in his pathetic existence at our expense". "We will continue to protest his vile commentaries, but so long as his readers are willing to acknowledge his work, we fear it will have little lasting effect, therefore we are appealing to all our loyal fans everywhere to boycott this publication and support us in this matter"
   Conspicuously absent was Portia DeRossi, whom inside sources told reporters she had chosen not to participate in the meeting, and to reserve judgement until she had quote: "Had the chance to meet the reporter, and discuss the matter over cocktails". -
